Mackenzie is a twenty-one year old resident of Valley Center. As an employee of Shadowridge Veterinary Hospital, she works closely with Operation Greyhound, Project Wildlife, and the San Diego County Humane Societies. Through her experiences with horses and rodeo, she has come to understand the importance of giving back to her community. With a career in forensic accounting, Mackenzie intends to work for a large, agriculturally based corporation, while still continuing her involvement in the western and rodeo industries. She has a broad range of equestrian knowledge, with training in dressage, jumping, barrel racing, and a new passion for reining and working cow horses. Beyond horses and rodeo, Mackenzie enjoys making jewelry, spending time with family and friends, camping, and, especially, collecting quotes.
